Synopsis
After receiving higher than anticipated interest in an employee buyout offer, the Client soon lacked the field resources necessary to protect their fiber optic transport network, putting the connectivity of their customers (and source of Client revenue) at significant risk. TTI designed a program to onboard over 220 resources and provide them with trucks, tools, and equipment to deploy to the field successfully. These resources were a mix of highly experienced field technicians and new entrants into the workforce who were trained in collaboration with the Client. TTI and the Client developed a fixed hourly rate model that provided the Client an all-inclusive price that covered all employee wages, benefits, tools and equipment, transportation, and lodging. This program remains active and has expanded from its original use case to support extended-leave project augmentation.

Synopsis
To realize value from acquiring a rival Orignal Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), the Client commissioned a site swap-out project to upgrade all of the legacy OEM’s cell site equipment to the Client’s equipment. This ambitious project called for deployments across the United States, touching 90k+ locations, and was scheduled to be completed over 42 months. TTI was called to augment the 300-person field technician workforce and 100-person field management organization. Over three months, TTI was able to train, equip, and deploy over 1000 resources on this project, far greater than the Client’s most optimistic resource plans. According to the Client, this success in deploying a workforce of this scale reduced the project timeline to 18 months from 42 months and cost savings in excess of $83m.
