Brief Description of Business Case: Client was interested in upgrading telephone Analog PBX system to a VoIP system. Client had more than 1,500 workstations that would require replaced handsets in addition to a significant upgrade to their LAN/WAN to support the increased bandwidth required for the VoIP system.
Feasibility: Client negotiated with Tucker Technology–a Value Added Reseller (VAR), the purchase of 1,500 ShoreTel VoIP handsets and Enterasys network hardware needed to facilitate the transition. In addition to the purchase, the Client also contracted Tucker Technology to manage the implementation and conversion. Tucker Technology provided the installation of the backbone hardware as well to support the network.
