Client: Telecommunications Services Integrator, Consultant, and Manager
Industry: Telecommunications
Description of Business Case: Client experienced a unique increase in project volume, related to the growth and proliferation of mobile telecommunications networks for various mobile service providers. Projects ranged from cellular site maintenance to cellular tower construction. Due to the unusual and unexpected increase in service requests, the Client was interested in the most economical way of increasing capacity without significantly disrupting their business process. Their existing infrastructure could easily accommodate the increase in projects , however, they lacked the presence of a mobilized workforce and did not have the resources to accommodate the increased business need.
Feasibility: Client negotiated two platforms with Tucker Technology that allowed them to economically increase their capacity. The first platform allowed the Client to be heavily involved in the project management, but essentially outsourced/subcontracted a significant amount of their projects to Tucker Technology. The second platform allowed the customer to maintain complete control of the project management, but outsourced the labor component of each project to Tucker Technology. The Tucker Technology employees worked under the direction of the Client’s Project Manager, in addition to the Tucker Technology Project Managers. The Tucker Technology employees deployed were a mix of former Client employees and new employees. Most tools and equipment were provided by Tucker Technology.
