Brief Description of Business Case: Client recently completed national labor agreement to outsource portions of their locating and maintenance services  within their national fiber network.  The locating and maintenance services included; extended onsite protection for large construction and infrastructure projects, on-call service in the event of emergency contact with fiber, response to state one-call requirements, and routine maintenance.   Other services included; maintenance to Radio and POP sites, Inside Plant (ISP) operations, and network operations and maintenance services. 

 Feasibility:  Client negotiated an agreement with Tucker Technology which allowed them  to moderately outsource outside plant (OSP) and inside plant (ISP) operations nationally.  The contract required Tucker Technology to follow the safety and procedural protocol defined by the Client. Tucker Technology also worked very closely with Client supervisors and managers  during day-to-day operations.   Tucker Technology was also contractually required to provide labor resources  including; 4×4 vehicles, laptop (notebook) computers with wireless capability, mobile phones, and common hand tools.  Proprietary locating equipment and other large tools were provided by the Client.
